Athena Back to School Spell

Color of the day:  Yellow
Incense of the day:  Almond

Olive oil is a very versatile oil. It can be used for cooking or burned in an oil lamp for light. The manufacture of olive oil also requires ingenuity and cooperation, and the olive tree is sacred to Athena, the goddess of civilization and learning. For these reasons, olive oil is a great tool for blessing both school supplies and any tools you might be using when seeking new knowledge (such as books, notebooks, pens, etc.).

For this spell you will need a few drops of olive oil in a small bowl and any items you want to bless. Lightly dip your index finger into the bowl of oil and then draw an invoking pentagram (or other symbol that resonates with you) on your item while saying:
Bring to me knowledge and light.
May all I wish to learn be in sight.
Bless the journey I undertake
And the choices I will make.
Athena, hear my plea.
Let wisdom be all that I see.

As you place the olive oil on your items, visualize them glowing with Athena’s knowledge and light.
