Emergency Preparedness

Color of the day:  Yellow
Incense of the day:  Lavender

It's the height of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, with abundant energy, warmth, and light. Now is a great time to think about emergency preparedness.

I'm not a survivalist or a "doom and gloom" person, but I like to be prepared for whatever may come. The pandemic and subsequent lockdowns added another layer of preparedness. I got into the practice of keeping a cash stash in addition to my usual emergency preparedness setup of first-aid and camping gear, water, and food.

Money is stored energy. Beginning today, conserve some energy in the form of a stash of cash. Tell yourself it's for a rainy day or just in case. Each time you add to it, invoke:
I conserve some energy to sustain me.
I am ready to face emergency.

While I hope for the best, I'm prepared for the worst, and with this magical conserving of energy, I'm prepared for any emergency.
