Today the Sun is in Venusgoverned Libra and Venus is in confident, fiery Leo. This is the perfect time to cast a spell to fall in love with yourself and your life, and to do so in a balanced and healthy fashion.

For this spell take a simple pink chime candle and scratch your name into the side of it with a small nail or pin. Pink is a secondary planetary color for Venus, and in one of the traditions I’m initiated into, it is the color used for the magick of healing related to self-love. Place the pink chime candle on a plate, and under the plate place a picture of yourself. Light the candle and focus on the feeling of falling in love with yourself and your life as you say:

Venusian power, glowing bright,

Internal passion I ignite.

A love of self, a lust for life,

In healthy ways and balanced right.

Extinguish the candle when done.
