Today is a day to remember those who have passed. The veil is still thin, and if you can go out and commune with your ancestors at their resting place, do so. Take the time to show your appreciation for them and what they did for you in this lifetime. Clean and cleanse their gravesite in order to remove all physical and spiritual residue that may have accumulated over the past year. Once you have physically cleaned the space, use dragon’s blood incense or sage to remove the spiritual residue. Say the following verse several times while using the incense:

Dearest ancestor, take heart.
Negative energies now depart.

Leave your loved one flowers or another gift that would speak to them.
