In the United States, today is Memorial Day. On this day, we celebrate those who have served in the armed forces and made the ultimate sacrifice. Whether or not we approve of war, those who serve—and the families who love them—are worth remembering with honor.

There are also other warriors, those who fight for the environment, for the rights of the downtrodden, for justice and truth, and for those who cannot speak for themselves. Let us remember them too, and send our love and energy and gratitude to all those who put themselves in harm’s way on behalf of others. Take a moment to be grateful and perhaps to consider ways you can become a warrior on behalf of the light.
