POSTED UNDER Air, Passion

Creativity Spell

Color of the day:  Yellow
Incense of the day:  Lilac

Today is the birthday of some notable people, including the renowned American artist Mary Cassatt (whose paintings often showed the bond between mother and child) and British writer Arthur Conan Doyle, best known for creating the character of Sherlock Holmes. These two could not be more different, but what they have in common is that they followed their passion, and the work that resulted touched many others along the way.

Are you following your own passion? Today, do something creative, whether it is art, cooking, or even crafting a beautiful altar. Here is a simple spell to help. Light a yellow candle and say:

"Spirit of air, help me be creative
In whichever way best expresses
my heart and soul
And touches others in positive ways.
Let me create beauty in the world
Or simply walk my path to joy.
So mote it be."
