If possible, step outside and raise your cup to the east. Bring your cup to your nose. Smell the essence of the tea or coffee beans and say: "Thank you for this blessed coffee (or tea). I share my first drink with thee." Pour a small amount of your drink onto the earth. Sip, drink, and be merry! |
