The old year thins away and once again we find ourselves looking at the past while being hopeful about the future. At this time of year, we have hopes and dreams of what we wish to accomplish in the future. This spell will help with that.

Perform this ritual in the evening. You'll need the Star card from the tarot and a bayberry-scented candle. Light the candle and lay the Star card before it. Look at the card; it's a symbol of hope and wishes. Now close your eyes and think of your wish. Place your hand on the card and draw it toward you. Visualize your wish coming true. Snuff out the candle and leave the card on your altar for a few days. Tonight, take a walk and think of your wish as you gaze at the stars.
