A Room of One's Own

There's no need to tell you how important it is to have a sacred space, a sanctuary. Make this the day you cleanse that room and perform a winter cleaning.

If possible, remove everything from the room and clean it with all-natural cleansers from ceiling to floor. Cleanse every item you return to the room, and replace anything worn or unused.

Or take this day to find and create a room in which to practice your craft. Should you be lucky enough to have options, ask your deity of choice to help you in choosing a room. A south-facing room is best, but work with what you have. Go all out and empty the room and then cleanse, paint, and refloor it, or merely cleanse it in whatever fashion you choose. Create an altar, and bring in a cabinet or chest of drawers for your supplies.

When you are done, relax, content with your work, in a room of your own. Say:

"Bless my work is all I ask. Ere I begin this sacred task. A strong back, no idle hand, Create with me a soft place to land."
