Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. This stone's lesson is to let go of the people and situations that are no longer healthy for you. Look for low-grade peridot stones for this spell, or simply use any peridot jewelry that you own. Hold the stone in your hand and concentrate on letting go of old hurts, ideas, and negativity that are no longer necessary in your life. Just let them go and watch these old negative thoughts evaporate away into nothing. Now raise your personal energy up from your center and say:

"Peridot has a beautiful hue of golden green,
Help me release all the baggage to which I cling.
Now it'll dissolve and vanish safely into thin air,
By the stone's magick, I release all worries and cares."
