Singing and Vocal Intonation

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Basil

Music of some variety is sacred to virtually all cultures worldwide. Many believe that the most sacred instrument is the human voice, it being our gods-given instrument.
Think about the intention you wish to manifest. Rather than creating a spell or ritual in the usual manner, try creating one using only your voice. Write songs to the elements and to the gods, and sing your spellcraft through the ceremony. Vow to only use your singing voice for the duration of the ritual. When utilizing words of power, chant these in long, sustained notes of deep vibration. Consider using musical instruments in the rite.
For added inspiration, carve the alchemical symbol of the planet Mercury ( O ) on a yellow candle. Add some musical notes, and burn the candle during ritual as a declaration to the gods of sound. Additionally, because of the associations with the air element (which rules vocals, thought, and instrumentation), consider burning heavy clouds of incense while you perform the ceremony.
Most of all, have fun!
