A New Moon Cleansing Spell

This new moon cleansing spell uses pennyroyal as a powerful purifier. Pennyroyal has the magical ability to stop arguments, so it was called the herb of peace. And if pennyroyal is near, it repels the evil eye.
Pennyroyal should be at its peak now in the July garden. Pick three stems of pennyroyal and dip them into saltwater. Using the stems as a sprinkler, sprinkle the saltwater at all exterior doors. When done, discard the stems; the oil in the leaves can be toxic, so dispose of them in the trash-you don't want a pet to eat them.
Next, using your ritual broom, sweep each threshold vigorously away from your home and toward the curb. As you sweep, say this:

"Pennyroyal, the herb of peace,
Thank you for cleansing my home.
All discord will now cease."
