Color of the day: Lavender Incense of the day: Hyssop Some people like a small bound journal, others a large notebook. Loose sheets of paper are fine too, perhaps on a clipboard, or in a loose-leaf notebook. Lined paper may be easier for words. Unlined paper is easier to draw on, though; it's specially useful for dreams, which may have images there are no words to describe. A pencil lets you erase mistakes, which I find more common when I've just woken up. Colored pencils or markers let you not only draw but add colors. Whatever you use, keep it by the bed if you can, so you can record dreams as soon as you wake up. A small light, like a book light, may be useful if you share a bed. If necessary, keep your dream journal in the bathroom or another room, so as not to wake up others. |
