Giving Thanks

Color of the day:  Green
Incense of the day:  Nutmeg

As we celebrate Thanksgiving by eating turkey and pumpkin pie, we often forget the most important part of this holiday - giving thanks.
People everywhere, not just in the United States, can set aside time out on this day to count blessings and remember how lucky we are. No matter how rough our lives are, there is always someone who is worse off. It's easy to lose track of the many good things in our lives and focus only on the bad. Make a list of all your blessing - large and small - and thank the gods for the gifts they have given you. If you want, you can recite this short prayer:

"God and Goddess, I thank you for the blessings of my life
And for your presence within me.
May my blessings continue and multiply
And may I never take them for granted."
