POSTED UNDER Spring, Water

Spell for Clearing and Cleansing

Color of the day:  Yellow
Incense of the day:  Bay laurel

In ancient Rome, this day was known as Furrinalia, and celebrated Furrina, a goddess of springs, wells, and fresh water. So why not take this day to do some clearing and cleansing using water? If you can, go to a source of fresh water-a stream, pond, ocean, or river. If you can't, though, simply fill a bowl or basin with water. Stand in (or near) the water, splashing droplets over your head, or flicking them onto each of your chakras, starting at the crown and moving down. As you do this, visualize yourself being washed clean of any negativity or leftover crap. Say:

Furrina, goddess of fresh water, wash me clear of all those things that no longer work for my benefit.
So mote it be.
