POSTED UNDER Snow, Summer, Winter

Fight the Doubt Demons

Color of the day:  Brown
Incense of the day:  Lavender

In the depth of winter, the lack of light can lead to a darkness in our souls. Even the cheeriest person can start to be discouraged by the snow and the cold. Even warmer climates don't have the kind of energy during the winter that is around in the summer. The winter weather can drag us down and make us doubt ourselves.
Light a black or white candle and surround it with salt. Feel a circle of protective light surrounding you, full of the strength and comfort of the god or goddess you worship.
Then say:

Demons of doubt
Who nip at my heels,
Who haunt my dreams,
Although you're not real
Get thee behind me.
Get thee away
From my circle of light.
You are banished this day.

Repeat as needed.
