Take some time today to plant a tree for the special gods and goddesses in your life. Because our spiritual practice is rooted in nature and the cycles of the Earth, we can plant a tree both to preserve the environment and as an intentional act of spiritual devotion. Research the trees associated with your gods and plant them if your area allows. Sometimes finding the deity's associated tree is as easy as looking into the myths. For example, the Buddha is associated with the Bodhi tree as it was the tree he sat under when he attained enlightenment. If you are planting seeds, you may wish to say something like:
Goddesses and gods that I adore,
I plant these seeds for what's in store.
A deeper bond, a stronger love,
The sacred song I'm part of.

May this act of devotion and heart,
Ensure our love will never part.
