In Brian Froud's Faerie Oracle, there is a wonderful card called Ilbe the Retriever, and his particular purpose is to find lost items. After cleaning your house, place Ilbe the Retriever (a real card or one printed from a computer) nearby the last place you remember seeing the item you seek. Light a white tealight candle, chew on some rosemary leaves, or rub the oil on your temples and visualize yourself remembering and finding-even holding-the lost item! Ilbe the Retriever can certainly help by revealing what isn't clear-oftentimes, we trick ourselves. We get caught up with mundane matters and don't remember details very well. This process allows your memory to work and unseen planes to be seen again (this is one reason why you clean your house). Thank Ilbe and know you will locate your item very soon.
