An Olive Oil Blessing For New Appliances

Olive oil has long been associated with the ancient Greek goddess Athena and with magical blessings. Use this charm to consecrate new appliances around the home. Place a drop of olive oil on your finger, then trace a personal holy symbol-perhaps a cross or pentagram-on a hidden part of the appliance while chanting: "I bless you with this sacred oil to help me with my endless toil. Make use of powers of earth, fire, water, and air to serve me well. Blessed be!" You may bless any appliance in this manner-microwaves, toasters, and the rest.
