Finding Beauty Affirmation

In most places in the northern hemisphere at this time of year, the heat of summer is still strong. Find some time during the day or night to get outside and observe something in nature-gardens, plants, trees, or flowers. Even in the city you can usually find lovely landscaping to enjoy. Try to notice something you haven't seen before and find the beauty in it. Now look at yourself. Focus on things you like about yourself-find the beauty. Repeat this affirmation:
Help me see the beauty in all things,
In people, places,
bodies, faces.
Help me know the joy that beauty brings,
Within us all,
large and small.
