Color of the day: Black
Incense of the day: Cedar

The old Greek calendar set aside certain times to honor all gods and goddesses together. This festival was called Metageitnion Noumenia. People said prayers and played music, especially flutes. They made offerings to their patron deities of barley, olive oil, incense, and libations of wine. Today is the perfect day to make a candle garden. You will need a large fireproof platter and a selection of candles. Mix and match different colors, shapes, and sizes. Name each for a different deity. You might choose a pink lady for Aphrodite or blue pillar with seashells for Poseidon. Light the candles, saying:

As I light these flames,
Let them bless me.
Each one is a different charm,
Keeps me well and safe from harm.

Snuff the candles respectfully after you finish. Whenever you light them, you're praying to the whole pantheon.
