You name it, we store it-our computers have become "gigabyte closets." But what happens when we have a computer crash? We lose the family pictures of Aunt Ruth and Uncle Bob's fiftieth wedding anniversary. We lose our bank balance. To help avoid this situation, as your collect your precious memories and essential data, remember the goddess Burn-It. She is matron of CD burners. Whenever you download the pictures, or come to the end of the month and have to balance your checking account, or store any sort of correspondence on your computer, remember to say a prayer to Burn-It. You can't simply take for granted that the information will always be there simply because it's in a computer. Always remember Burn-It and you will not lose the really important memories and information in your life. |
