Astarte. Her name evokes the stars, and she is the wickedly sexy side of the goddesses Ishtar, Eostre, Asherah, and Hathor. In the Egyptian myths, she is mistress of bad boy Set, and in any case, she knows how to be seductive. So girlfriend, why not be a sexy star on the dance floor tonight? Invoke Astarte while bathing in the light of red candles. Put a drop or two of patchouli essential oil in the bath. Dress in black, and if you wear jewelry make it opulent Astarte gold instead of Saturnine silver. Look in the mirror when ready and say: "Goddess Astarte, let all who see me, see you." Blow a kiss to the stars in the heavens before leaving.
