Spell: Telling the Bees Syrup

Bees must be told of significant house- hold events such as births, deaths, and weddings, or they will take their luck with them to seek a new home.
Syrup Recipe:

1 cup honey
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

Heat ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer a few minutes, remove from heat. Serve over ice cream, toast, or pancakes. Place syrup outside on special occasions. Celebrate if a bee flies into your house or appears in your garden, because prosperity is just around the corner. But take care if a swarm lands on your roof. It is a warning that your house is in danger of catching fire.
