Spell: Mending Fences Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

With this full moon, and Lughnasadh so recently past, personal sacrifice is highlighted. If we've fallen prey to the crankiness that the dog days of summer can bring, we probably have some fences to mend, whether with a friend or lover or even ourselves.

For this spell, take a pale blue pillar candle and inscribe it with all the loving words and symbols you can think of that speak to you and the other person. Let your heart be filled with the love and affection you feel for this person. Anoint the candle with lavender oil to induce peace and harmony, and speak the words of apology and love you feel you need to say to the other. Light the candle and say:

"Let there be peace between us,
always, in love and in truth.
Blessed be, (name of person)."

Then follow up by meeting with the person and speaking the words you just spoke to their spirit.
