Spring cleaning is a chance to open the windows and give your house a good cleaning after the long winter while letting fresh air and sunshine into your home. Why not add a special fall cleaning to your projects to give yourself a good cleaning and to let in some fresh air and sunshine while it is still around to be had? After all, a good cleansing should take place more than just once a year. Use a natural cleaner, such as lemon or cinnamon oil with vinegar water, to scrub down walls, cupboards, and windows. (I use one cup of vinegar to a gallon of water and fifteen drops of oil.) Breathe in the scent as you work for your own personal cleansing. As you clean, focus on clearing the space of negative energy along with dirt buildup. When you're done, keep the windows open while you do an intense smudging. Allow the air to carry the smoke throughout your home. |
