Spell: Prayer to the Virgin Goddess

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

With the Sun and Moon both in Virgo today, there couldn't be a better day to pay tribute to the Virgin Goddess while infusing yourself with her wonderful attributes. (Please note that "virgin" originally meant "independent/com-plete in oneself," and didn't indicate sexual inexperience.) Light a white or off-white soy candle. Sit comfortably, breathe deeply, and relax. When you feel ready, say:
Virgin Goddess,
Goddess of the Earth,
Goddess of the Sun and
Moon,
I summon you.

Divine Mother,
Huntress,
Enchantress,
Maiden,
Protectress,
You of many names and
many incarnations,
(Among them Artemis,
Diana, Mary, and Bast,)
I call upon you now.

Fill me with your bright
Spirit.
Infuse me with your confidence.
Share with me your beauty
And your power.
Instill in me the infinite measure of your strength.

Like you, may I know myself
As perfect and complete in myself.
Let this wisdom bless and
Balance my relationships,
As you teach me to honor and respect myself in all
Ways,
To speak my truth,
And to stand by what I have
Spoken, what I believe,
And what I know I must
Do.

Anoint your forehead, throat, and heart with frankincense oil. Continue meditating for as long as you wish.
