Color of the day: Blue
Incense of the day: Violet

On this day in 1947, tornadoes killed 169 people in three states. Tornadoes are a prime example of nature at its most powerful. To harness the power of a tornado and put it to use in magical work, we must work in the astral realm. There is old lore that says you can capture the wind in a bag and
magically seal the bags with cords and knots, thus harnessing the wind. But when dealing with a tornado it is far too dangerous to attempt a capture. Decide on the goal of the spell. Write it on paper and rip the paper to little bits. Place the bits in your left palm. Now conjure the tornado. Visualize it getting stronger and blowing fiercely. Hold your left palm up to your mouth and blow, hard. See the tornado burst from your mouth in a pulsating white cloud.
