Spell: Psychic Growth Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

As the winter wanes, the Pisces New Moon symbolizes the deep receptive state that we feel at this time of year. This is a powerful time to get in touch with our psychic strengths and to help augment our spiritual powers. Doing this spellwork will help you to be more aware and in tune with the natural world. It will also help strengthen your spiritual core. Find a tree that you feel is especially powerful, and gather some tobacco or lavender. From the beginning of the New Moon (today) until the Full Moon in two weeks, go outside once a day and stand underneath your tree. Stretch your arms out so that your hands are open flat toward the tree. Send out positive and loving energy through your hands toward the tree. When you feel you are sending a good current, ask the tree for help in strengthening your inner spiritual powers and in tapping into your alliance with the natural world. Feel the currents of energy that the tree is emitting. Draw its strength into all of your chakras, and feel your inner core getting stronger from your communication with the tree. After standing there for a short while (perhaps ten minutes), thank the tree. I like to give trees small offerings of tobacco or lavender after this ritual.
