Introduction. Sexual Interchange, the examination of sexual identity by astrally experiencing the other gender, requires approximately one hour in a comfortable private setting with no distractions. A comfortably lying-down position while preferably nude is recommended. Here is the program:
Stage 1. Preliminary Considerations. At this stage, the interchange partners, having already been introduced to the procedure, engage in open discussion, in which they share their deeper feelings and concerns. The complete consent of both partners to practice the procedure in private is critical to its success.
Stage 2. OBEs Induction. Having mutually consented to practice sexual interchange, the partners concurrently induce the out-of-body state as they lie comfortably together in close proximity, but without physical contact. Induce the out-of-body state by following steps 1 through 5 of OBE Levitation and presented again here. Since partners often find that they achieve the out-of-body state at different rates, sufficient time must be allowed to ensure that both partners are in the out-of-body state. Experienced partners will sense the mutual emergence of the out-of-body state.
Step 1. While resting in a comfortable, reclining position, mentally scan your total body from your head downward, pausing at areas of tension and letting them relax. Slow your breathing, taking a little longer to exhale, until you develop a relaxed, effortless breathing pattern.
Step 2. Focus your full attention on your physical body and imagine it becoming lighter and lighter, until finally, it seems to become weightless.
Step 3. As the sense of weightlessness continues, imagine your physical body, as light as a feather, beginning to rise slowly. Next, envision your physical body momentarily suspended in space, then slowly returning to its original position, but leaving your consciousness behind in astral form, still suspended over your physical body.
Step 4. From overhead, view your physical body, now resting comfortably below. Notice your sense of weightlessness and separation from your physical bod
Step 5. Invoke the positive energies of higher astral planes by visualizing your projected astral body, as well as your physical body below, surrounded by white radiance, then affirming:
"My total being is now enveloped in the powerful radiance of cosmic energy. As I travel beyond my body, I will be empowered and protected, mentally, physically, and spiritually, by the positive energies of higher astral planes. I will return to my physical body at any time by simple intent alone."
Stage 3. Astral Embrace. Once a mutual out-of-body state has been achieved, the partners engage in an astral embrace while suspended over their physical bodies which remain comfortably at rest below them.
Stage 4. Gender Exchange. At this critical point in the procedure, each partner first envisions and then astrally engages the biological body of the other partner. In the male-female dyad, the astral male assumes a female biology while the astral female assumes a male biology, resulting in a gender reversal state which we could call out-of-one's-own-body-but-in-the-body-of-the-other. Because they are outside their own bodies, the partners, while temporarily possessing the physical body of the other partner, remain in the astral projected state. Periodically throughout the procedure, imagery of the possessed body may be required to maintain the gender reversal state.
Stage 5. Interchange Arousal. While in the projected, gender reversal state, with each partner in possession of the other's body, the partners engage in sexual foreplay, typically through erotic expressions involving physical touch as well as mental and verbal communication. As sexual arousal emerges and throughout the ensuing sexual interchange, the gender reversal state is carefully maintained.
Stage 6. Sexual Interchange. With the female partner in astral possession of the male body, and the male partner in astral possession of the female body, sexual interchange as a combined form of astral and physical sexual intercourse is initiated. The sexual interchange experience typically culminates in mutual orgasm.
Stage 7. Interchange Resolution. Following sexual intercourse and while retaining the out-of-one's-own-body-but-in-the-body-of-the-other state, a period of reflection and relaxation is recommended, during which the partners share feelings and thoughts concerning the experience.
Stage 8. Astral Embrace and Return. At this stage, the partners simultaneously engage in a brief period of quiet relaxation, and then exit each other's body by intentionally shifting astral awareness above the two physical bodies which remain at rest and in close proximity. While in that levitated out-of-body state, the partners embrace, after which they re-engage their own physical bodies. Each partner then focuses attention on the physical body and its various sensations, such as breathing, tingling, and so forth.
Stage 9. Post-Interchange Embrace and Resolution. The partners conclude the sexual interchange experience by physically embracing and again sharing their innermost thoughts and feelings while giving particular attention to the empowering relevance of the experience.
